Sunrise School for Adults

CBCK operates an Adult School that provides a second chance for individuals who were unable to complete their primary or secondary education due to life challenges. Many of the students are women who had to forgo their education in order to take on family and motherly responsibilities.

Pastors and ministry workers who previously lacked basic literacy skills have also enrolled in the school. Through this program, they are now able to read and write, greatly enhancing their effectiveness in ministry and their ability to engage more deeply with Scripture and their communities.

Sunrise Adult School has earned recognition as one of the leading adult learning institutions in the Kibera and Lang’ata areas. It has received several awards in acknowledgment of its outstanding contribution to education and community transformation.
