CBCK Sharing God’s Goodness: A Compassionate Feeding Program for Our Community’s Future
May 5, 2025
At CBCK, we believe that every act of kindness, every shared meal, and every moment of care is a reflection of God’s boundless love. Our Compassionate Feeding Program, “Sharing God’s Goodness,” is a testament to our commitment to uplifting our community and ensuring that no child goes hungry. As we come together to serve and nourish, we embody the spirit of Matthew 25:35, where Jesus reminds us, “For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink.” Our mission is to fill not only their stomachs but also their hearts with hope and love. In every gathering, we witness the power of community and the profound impact of compassion. It is through these simple acts of service that we foster a sense of belonging and unity. We draw inspiration from 1 John 3:18, which encourages us to love not just with words or speech but with actions and in truth. As we serve warm meals and share laughter, we reinforce bonds that uplift our spirits and nurture our souls. Each plate served is a reminder of our shared humanity and our calling to care for one another as Christ cares for us. Together, we are building a brighter future—one filled with promise and possibility. Our feeding program is not just about addressing immediate needs; it’s about sowing seeds of hope for generations to come. In Galatians 6:9, we are reminded, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” With faith guiding our actions and love fueling our efforts, we invite everyone to join us on this journey of compassion and service, knowing that together, we can make a profound difference in the lives of our children and our community. At CBCK, we are dedicated to uplifting our community by supporting three schools with over 1,500 eager pupils and students, nurturing their dreams and aspirations through education. Alongside this, our heartfelt community feeding program operates three times a week, providing warm meals to an average of 300 families who rely on our support.
